Brian The name Gabriel is mentioned many times throughout the book, often in reference to the Archangel Gabriel. There is also a character named "Gibreel" in the "London" chapter, which is the Arabic transliteration for of the same name (I think).

Did anyone else notice this?

Does anyone have any insight into this?
