In a Cemetary At Night and Other Storie of Crime and Suspense-These stories weren't not suspenseful

Thankfully, that was the only book I read for this challenge that I didn't particularly like.

Only 2 1 star reads:
Consequences of Sin - after reading Maisie Dobbs and the first few Phryne Fisher books by Kerry Greenwood, I was interested to try other period mysteries. This one was a real disappointment.
Finding Clarity: A Mom, A Dwarf and a Posh Private School in the People's Republic of Berkeley - a free kindle book, that sounded fun and quirky and was not fun (although quirky!). Not even worth what I paid for it.
And one of the 2 stars that really was a disappointment - I like Marcia Muller and Bill Pronzini a lot, so got on the "hold" list at the library early on for The Bughouse Affair and really didn't enjoy it. Too much "period," not enough mystery. Since I like both authors, though, if they come out with a second in the series, I'll probably give it a chance - maybe they will need a couple books to successfully do something different for them.

Playing for Pizza by John Grisham
Detailed descriptions of uninteresting food and dull play by play accounts of high school level american football games.
The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas
Premise was good but execution was poor leaving one dimension characters with too much aggression and weird sexual overtones.

Girlchild
Christmas Stories
The Bridges of Madison County
Artemis Fowl
The Supernaturalist
Thirteen Reasons Why
Evermore
Marked

Least favorite fiction: Interview With the Vampire

Winter's Tale
The Republic of Love
Maisie Dobbs

Notorious Nineteen: A Stephanie Plum Novel
2 Stars:
Secrets of Eden
The Devil's Teeth : A True Story of Survival and Obsession
Suite Scarlett

1982
Reached
A Time For Us
Travels in the Scriptorium
There's Something in a Sunday

The Sense of an Ending
The Princesses of Iowa
and by far the worst ---
Real Simple: The Organized Home which was nothing more than nice photography and telling the reader what pieces of furniture they should have in different rooms --- did I really need a book to tell me a bedroom should have a bed, light and dresser??

Also, though I didn't finish it in time to count for the challenge

Me Talk Pretty One Day
Until The Real Thing Comes Along

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
