Review: Absolute classic, this biography gives great insight and a throve of details about WWII and Churchill's curious leadership. I recommend it to everyone interested in Churchill or WWII.

Ah - one of my favorite books on one of my heroes. Great book.

Review: An amazing introduction into the complexity and amazing life of Thomas Jefferson. An accessible book for non initiates, very well written and giving just enough details to stimulate interest into learning more about this Founding Father.

Dave McMahon | 63 comments That book was purely amazing. You would hope Meacham would do a presidential serie on his own. I'm thinking about buying his book on Jackson.

Review: A very short book that you will almost surely read in one sitting, this novel explores our relationship with time in a brilliant and touching way. One of those life lessons in a small book.

Dave McMahon | 63 comments It is, absolutely. It's a very short reading, an avid reader will go through it in a matter of 2-3 hours, but it offers some interesting hours of pondering about our ectic lives. "A little more time" and "Please make it end" :D

Review: Very interesting book about the evolution of voter mobilisation theories and the recent advances made by the Democrats into voter contact.

Dave McMahon | 63 comments You will find it amazing. It really deals with the different process to get out the vote, which sometimes can add this little push an elected official need to win. Great case study on Colorado too.
