Bunnicula
question
Reminds me of when I was a kid

I LOVED this book as a kid! I used to read it over and over again. This book takes me back to the days when I used to shut my bedroom door and read for hours. My brother and I used to laugh about the characters in Bunnicula, and though I haven't read it in a long time, I would still read it again even though I'm grown.

This was my favorite book as a kid - around 11 years old. I am 31 now and read it to my young children several years ago; it was just as enjoyable as I had remembered it to be.
My son (now 17) fell in love with this book when he was 10 (must be the age to read it). Because of his love for this, I fell in love with it as well. He must have read it 10x a year for a couple of years (that really is no exaggeration). He would sit/lay/lounge around reading, and bursting into laughter he would repeat the funny thing he had just read (which pretty much was like him reading the entire book out loud lol). I loved his devotion to this book so much that I would actually ask him to read it. I'm not so sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I had read it myself. Because of that experience, it is a very dear to me.
I loved the Bunnicula books as a kid. I couldn't believe it when I found the whole series as a box set! We bought it for our boys but I ended up 'giving' it to myself and read them all in a week!
I like it, but vampires drink blood not vegetable juice.
My teacher read this to my class in grade 4.
I remember most parts, and whenever I look at the cover, I'm reminded of my hilarious teacher!

Oh, this was one of my favorite series as a child! I read them over and over again, too! :)
I recently found a copy of one of the books (not the first one, unfortunately) at a library book sale and picked it up for my niece. I read through it first, and it was still awesome and hilarious. I've been impatiently waiting for her to read and like it, so I can get the whole series for us to read together!
