This is a place to list all the books you've been putting off for years in the hopes that, if some titles get mentioned more than once, they will be added to our list :)

As for me, these are the books at the top of my head:
- The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
- Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
- Norwegian Wood and Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami
- I've just always wanted to read ANYTHING by V. Woolf and Emily Dickinson.
- The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
- Selected Poems by E.E Cummings
- Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
- I have a lot of interest on anything by Marya Hornbacher.
- Brave New Wold by Aldous Huxley (been putting it off for years!)
- Ana Karenina and War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
- Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak
- Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell
- Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
- A Farewell to Arms and From Whom The Bell Tolls by Hemingway

And these are just a few! Gah, there's so many books I've always wanted to read, and of course, many more that have been added throughout the years, oops.

Saša (lakebolt) | 1 comments A full list would be too long for a thread like this (basically, just check out my to-read shelf), but here are some more prominent titles:

- The Brothers Karamazov by F. M. Dostoyevsky
- Ulysses by James Joyce
- War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
- The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner
- Immortality by Milan Kundera
- The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami

I will be adding some of these books to our bookshelf.
I'm very glad to hear everyone is willing to read War and Peace, which will probably be a very interesting discussion!

I am going to make a top 10 list soon so we decide the books for the first months based on this; although I just realized how much I want to read This Side of Paradise so I'm voting that haha

Layla | 1 comments Carmen A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is an excellent book. If you have not yet read it, make it your very next book. Eventhough only mention once here, it should be on the to read list.

☼♎ Carmen the Bootyshaker Temptress ☼♎ @ Layla: My father-in-law mentioned it and then I bought the book but never got around to reading it. I agree that it sounds like a good book and thank you for the recomendation comment. :)
