Elizabeth (ejnorton) | 19 comments I have to say I wasn't as repulsed by this one as I thought I would be. For such a heinous, unthinkable topic, it's handled nicely. A lot of cautions that will make me think before I order this--my community is super-conservative--but I think it could be used as a discussion starter, perhaps for people who work with at-risk youth or at an anti-bullying workshop. I'm curious: If you own this book in your library, where is it shelved?

Pam Considering how "it" books about bullying are right now, this is a great book. It was interesting to see how the author kept calling Dahmer his "friend" but was clearly laughing at him, not with him. It was also great to see how his parents relationship added to his distress.

x Such an excellent book. It's creepy and chilling and so so sad. We have our copy shelved in adult, but I think it would be perfectly fine in our teen collection. There is so much in it that I think teens could relate to and learn from.
