The Sir John Fielding/Bow Street runners mysteries by Bruce Alexander are very, very, good.

Wendy | 581 comments Yes! I really enjoy all of above. Esp. Kellerman and Muller, but all have seemed to be forgotten.

I met Leslie Glass a few years ago. She's a really nice person.
I'm really not into McBain or Linda Barnes. Will check out the others.

Jan C (woeisme) | 39195 comments I prefer Edna Buchanan's non-fiction work to her fiction.

I like Julie Smith but I got bogged down in The Kindness of Strangers. Maybe it just got too political (New Orleans) for me.

Love the Burce Alexander and Marcia Muller stories. I have a number of Kellerman (Faye, Jonathan, Jesse) books but haven't really gotten into them very much.

Never really got into Ed McBain.

I've never tried any of the others.

I would LOVE to meet L. Glass, or Faye Kellerman. J. Kellerman plots are a bit too creepy for my tastes. I have been to two readings with Marcia Muller and her husband..(?) Ed McBain was my first ingro o adult mysteries.

T (twoo) I've read all but the last L. Glass in the series, got on to those due to the Chinese female cop whose family cracks me up.

Also have read all but maybe the last Faye Kellerman....
