I have two blogs but I haven't been there in awhile. I'm going to try to start posting again. I will go and post about our group when I get the chance.
This one is about this and that, anything I feel like blogging. http://barbsbitesizednotes.blogspot.com/
The other one I have is http://discoverpa.blogspot.com It's a blog about my area where I live. There are a bunch of bloggers who post a photo-a-day or a theme once a month and post photos. It you ever want to travel then these are good to look at.

My blog is: www.animalsandmagic.wordpress.com
This was started as an author blog for my books, but is also about other things as well, but at this time always relates back to books in some way. In the future I plan on doing some book reviews on my blog.
I blog every two weeks on Friday nights, which means my posts are up by Saturday mornings. You can visit my blog for my most recent post and/or visit www.mortalrealmwitch.com and check out the what's happening page where I have listed my previous posts with direct links to them, as well as a list and expected dates of upcoming posts.

This sounds interesting.

I love reading books through the eyes of an animal. Although, I'm more of a dog person myself. I love cats, just allergic. So I can't have one. But, I love all animals.

The link above takes you to page 3 where she is right now, (as I write) but she may move up to page 2 or (hopefully) page 1 if people vote for her.

By the way everyone, I am doing blog articles on "Authors and their Pets," and several here have already joined me on Pasha's blog...let me know if you want a little story with pictures...
Check out what I wrote about Tui, Barbara, Jennifer, Mary Anne, and others with their pets/animals.

My website is www.romancingthedog.com
There's a tab for my blog. I'm working on adding a page for my favorite blogs if anyone is interested in cross-listing each other's sites.

It's been a long time since I wrote about your chipper Chip in my blog...any funny updates? I'd love to do another feature on him...perhaps as part of my "Authors and Their Pets" stories....

• Nice to meet you. Cherish the moments. My book, "Healing Companions: Ordinary Dogs and Their Extraordinary Power To Transform Lives," includes compelling stories of veterans and others and how their psychiatric service dogs have helped them survive their debilitating symptoms of PTSD, TBI & MST. Thanks. Peace, Jane

OF MICE AND ZEN. Animal Encounters in the life of a Wandering Buddhist by Stewart McFarlane (Goodreads Author)
Available on Amazon (Kindle) or in EPub format from my website:
www.taichi-exercises.com
Autobiographical account of my life with animals, with a Buddhist/Taoist/Hindu orientation. The book emphasises the need for humane treatment of our domestic animals and the protection of wild ones. I believe that respecting and caring for animals makes us more fully human.
I include discussion on humane training and meditating with your dog, as a way of bonding and improving non verbal communication. Also discuss the differences in attitudes to dogs in Thailand and the West. The animal stories range from encounters with elephants in a sanctuary in Thailand where I volunteer, to dogs (many chapters), monkeys, water-buffalo,snakes, sea-lions, cats, nurse sharks and many more.
Elaine's planned book on Dogs and Civilization looks fascinating.Hope she has it finished soon.

Samuel, Wonderful (at times sad) blog. What happened to these circus elephants was heartbreaking. It reminds me that we have an Elephant Sanctuary right here in Arkansas (US), where several former show elephants have found a caring and carefree home.
I'd love to feature your book on my blog (having done so for several of our friends here). P/M me if you are interested and don't mind to appear among dogs, cats, cows, turtles, Tui's wonderful dolphin, and even a sea lion...

Hi Nick
Your site is great:
http://nickbengerblog.wordpress.com
I added some material on meditating with your dog, to develop bonding and communication.
I would have added more but had to rescue three snakes from my neighbour's kitchen & garden, before someone killed them. Mildly poisonous red neck keelbacks. Good looking Thai snakes.

Thanks Nick,
That makes at least two of us in the group who are snake fans. When I have a moment free of these 3 new puppies & the five other dogs I am taking care of, I shall post some pics & snake items on this site. Thailand is great for snake spotting. They regularly come into my garden and kitchen. I have trained my grown up dogs to point them out and leave them alone. Hoping they will help teach the puppies to do the same.
Forgot to mention that there are many free martial arts & related articles on my website, including a review of "Man of Tai Chi", which compares very badly with the classics of Bruce Lee. Also a good article by Chris Barber on Martial Arts Movie heroes...Help yourself on:

Nick and Stewart! LOL I used to wear garter snake pals around my neck when I was a child. You're not alone as snake lovers. All creatures are amazing - not just the cute fuzzy ones. :-)

Thanks for the links. I also have a craft group on Facebook, called...The Crafter's Edge. It's to show off crafts people make, how to, organization, etc. Never put it here since this is an animal, etc. Group. But, guess someone could post some cute animal cards or something to my group, not here of course.

Hope to see some of you there ;-)

Also our dogs and co-authors, Max and Luther are blogging weekly: http://www.kariandcarey.com/blog/ . This week Max talks about life as a SoCal dog....last week Luther explained what an OEB is. Funny stuff!
