Lily (joy1) | 749 comments It has been suggested that we consider some reading projects for which we chose a topic and then select perhaps 3-4 books with which to explore that topic, i.e., perhaps a quarter of a year's worth of group reading. Use this discussion topic to suggest possible topics, processes for selecting topics, possible books, possible processes for selecting books once topics are selected, ..., or any of the other things, pro or con, that you would like the rest of us to think about prior to further face-to-face discussions.

Lily (joy1) | 749 comments I'm not sure the discussions I have added tonight to "The Red Tent" folder really belong under that rubric, but since it is not a month-dependent folder, I've decided to put them here for now. If anyone wants to suggest giving them a folder of their own, let me know.

Janet Williams | 38 comments If you want to read a biography, you might want to read "On Gold Mountain" by Lisa See. You have already read 2 of her books and I found it interesting, if not literature. http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Mountain-L...
