What do you guys think? Will the author be heartless and let Jem die or would be loving and would let Jem live!! I Love Jem so he better not die

Is it bad that i want Jem to die so that Tessa will have Will? I like Jem, so maybe he could become...really, i have now idea what he'll do. But he isn't gonna die, unless Cassie wants to crush girls hearts out there. I like happy endings. Man, why did Tessa have to say yes to Jem?!

well he has to live long enough to have a child(ren) since in the Dark Artifices the main character is Emma Carstairs.

Let's not think about them dieing. But how about that theory about the silent brothers? Both live and become them because Jem wants to live and Will because he feels bad or because of the paroti thing (i spelled it wrong) which makes him required. Leaving Tessa single.

I'm pretty sure they are not going to die. But something is going to happen to Jem because of him dieing.

because Jem is was a dieing boy who was sweet and cute and asked her. How could she have not.

ARGGG! that frustrates me sooooo much! Will was so close!

omgod, I ship Jessa so hard.
Jem will not die. Y'know why? Because Jem will marry Tessa and have lots of Jessa children with her. He'll survive his illness then they'll live happily ever dang after!

And Will will become Brother Zachariah.

There is not enough proof in the future books to consider either Will or Jem becoming Silent Brothers. Zachariah mentions once being a shadow hunter and losing everything. But most likely the name would connect them,and Zachariah does not unless it is a middle name.

JEM BBY DONT DIE :( i mean, i'm all for wessa, but i still love jem, i just cant think of a way he's gonna get out of this ne though :(

True. You got a point there. But why would she marry a dying man? She knows she's gonna end up a widow (assuming Jem dies) so why set herself up to a life of loneliness? And it's not like if Jem dies, she can pick Will. She would be shunned for adultery or something. So really, Tessa made a stupid move saying yes. She should have waited until Jem lives (which he will) to say yes.

It isn't stupidity. She is just as faulty in love as the rest of us. Tessa want both sides of the coin. Someone says toss and she loses either way. I think she will end up with Will because they have passion and love which is usually what authors go for.

NOOOO!!! He just can't die!! I love Jem even though I think Tessa should stay with Will, no one will be happy with his death, he's so kind and doesn't deserve to die... :'(
