SheLove2Read (sherrih95) Just finished it and it was absurdly good! 6 stars!

I'm avoiding the other thread since I haven't read the book yet. I got my copy a couple of days ago, and it reminds me I so need to get caught up on this series.

Kathleen (user_kathleen) | 63 comments I thought it was good, too, but only gave it 4 stars, due to various issues. In fact, I almost went with 3.5, because of some aspects of the book. My fave is Silver Borne.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 96 comments I actually have read it twice already. I got the audio when it came out, then listened again this week because I didn't have any others I wanted to listen to and it was so good it deserved another turn.

Emily | 31 comments I think it's about time I start the series over. I'm hoping I can do that on audio since my to-read list is always overwhelming so I almost never re-read anything.
But this book had a lot of references to events I only vaguely remembered, and I love these characters so much, it will be fun to revisit them in older books.

I liked Frost Burned a lot. Kathleen mentioned some loose ends (the other thread I think) that I also wondered about, but I'm figuring Briggs will address them in the next book. I hope that's what she's planning, anyway.

Anyone know when the next Charles and Ana book comes out? It looks like another Mercy book comes out next year, which makes me wonder about the other series.

Kathleen (user_kathleen) | 63 comments Hi Emily, I re-read Silver Borne and skimmed River Marked before reading Frost. It was a joy, revisiting Silver, and did help me follow Frost. I have forgotten a lot from book 1, so maybe will re-read it.

I hope the lose ends are squared away in the next book.

No idea when the next books are expected, in either series

For me, that is the way that I re-read. I like it because it give you a different perspective.

If I understand it correctly Fair Game was the last official book in the Alpha and Omega series.

Having said that she is doing another Mercy book and I think that is called Night Broken...anyway after that there will be one or two more book(s) in the Mercy universe and it could be something with Charles and Anna or it could be something else.

Which one the one hand is great because it gives her time to focus on one book but sad because I really liked that series.

Emily | 31 comments Me too. The Alpha and Omega novella is one of the few things I do regularly re-read. It's like comfort food with no calories.

Finished Frost Burned and I loved it!!! Can't wait for #8

Anna | 53 comments Why are there 2 threads on Frost Burned? Is this one a no spoiler thread?

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) | 297 comments I think that's what was originally done Anna. One for "pre" launch and shortly after launch. The other for those of us die-hard fans that got the book day 1 and had it finished before the day ended. (I have NO idea who any of THOSE people are tho. Not me, uh-uh, I didn't do that.) :o)

Anna | 53 comments Thanks Ann - I'll stick to the other one then.
