If members are interested in a bit of fiction as an idea seeding exercise, may I suggest the novel: Memories with Maya?
The story takes a look at emerging technologies already with us (Google Glass, Augmented reality, AI). Although the subjects are hard-science, hopefully I've done a worthy job of keeping it interesting from a narrative/fiction p.o.v.

The story explores the extent these technologies have and will affect personal relationships

between people.
MwM touches on Trashumanism and the questionably taboo subject of QA (Quantum Archeology)
