I'm 34, living in San Francisco, and been a redditor since 2005. I also used to work there (2005-2010).

My tastes tend to skew heavily toward hard sci-fi (Charles Stross, Neal Stephenson, Alastair Reynolds, David Brin), but I've also been known to enjoy a good work of fiction (Michael Chabon, Richard Russo).

I also went through a long period of reading only Academic Papers (Physics undergrad '00, PhD '06), so I've been trying to fill in my '96-'06 literary blind spot as best I can.
