Amed Nunez | 6 comments Ok, so Catching fire takes place a few months after the first book, right? My question is, after the first book finishes how much time can there be between when the first book finishes and the second starts? Months, maybe years? How long? Thanks :)

Kyle (kcon13) | 16 comments That completely depends on the book. From Catching Fire to Mockingjay, there is a matter of days, I believe (if not, it has been awhile since I read them). Between Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead (the second in the series) a few thousand years pass. There is no necessary time. I hope that's what you are looking for in an answer.
