As the last Healer in the Fifteen Realms, Avry of Kazan is in a unique position: in the minds of her friends and foes alike, she no longer exists. Despite her need to prevent the megalomanical King Tohon from winning control of the Realms, Avry is also determined to find her sister and repair their estrangement. And she must do it alone, as Kerrick, her partner and sole confident, returns to Alga to summon his country into battle.

Though she should be in hiding, Avry will do whatever she can to support Tohon’s opponents. Including infiltrating a holy army, evading magic sniffers, teaching forest skills to soldiers and figuring out how to stop Tohon’s most horrible creations yet; an army of the walking dead—human and animal alike and nearly impossible to defeat.

War is coming and Avry is alone. Unless she figures out how to do the impossible ... again.

Going to start this tonight when I go to bed, hope it's as good as everyone says!

Started this last night and it's really good so far!

I started this morning and am at 10% - really liking it!

Finished last night. Awesome book!

I'm liking it too, can't believe that Kerrick handcuffs her to a tree and makes her sleep outside though!

He's pretty harsh at times!

Yeah, I really liked it. loved the twist with the lilies at the end. i should write my review :)

I totally didn't see the lily thing coming! such a clever idea though! I liked how there were so many different uses for the lilies as well., and things about them that people didn't know. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

18% this is a bit heavy going for me! I find it difficult to keep up with fantasy stories sometimes.

I'm really losing it! This is becoming a in-depth fantasy novel!

What kind of an ending is that? Torture I tell you! Torture!

I don't like this as much as the first one. It's pretty slow and a bit boring. I like that the death lilies are important again though.

I thought it was pretty slow. felt like i was dragging myself through it at times.

I read her Poison Study series a couple of years ago and loved it!

I still haven't read the poison study series! I have so many book sat on my shelves that I HAD to have and have NEVER read!

My mums friend lent the series to me about 2 years ago, and after the first half i was contemplating on putting it down. (Fantasy books weren't really my thing) I carried on with it though, and shortly after, it got really good. I read the other two straight after, and ever since i've been meaning to read her other series. I just never got round to it.

I'll be starting this shortly. :)

I liked it, but i didn't like it as much as the Study series.
