In honor of its Centennial Year, the Anti-Defamation League put together this remarkably inspirational PSA that imagines a world without hate crimes. Set to John Lennon’s “Imagine,” the video shows what people like Martin Luther King Jr., Anne Frank and Matthew Shepard might be doing today had they not been cut down before their time by perpetrators of racism, anti-Semitism and homophobia.
At least five per cent. of the population (viz. Martha Stout) is intractably sociopathic, and that demographic would include the overwheming majority of the Schadenfreude-engorged monsters who actually wield all the power. So nice thought, but not going to happen. At the moment, I'd be happy just to imagine a world without ravening lunatic bigoted ignorant psychopaths. Does anyone know how to revive the space program and send the Tea Party, collectively, to the Moon? Perhaps we could tell them that the craters are paved with gold.

Yes, and that they'd be able to beat up extraterrestrials. And worship Ayn Rand and Antonin Scalia and Sean Hannity, and deny lunar warming. We need to gin up a campaign: everybody make billboards.
