Karachi discussion

How about we all pick up Mohsin Hamid's new book in the coming month? And have a discussion on it?

(did you know there was a Pakistan Day discount on it?! I'm so pissed off because I'd already bought it)

Alright on with discussion, do it. I m currently reading it and losing interest but will finish this week. I m up for discussion.

The review for this particular novel by Hamid wasnt that compelling as well. I read it in Books and Authors of Dawn Newspaper and although the reviewer was going gaga over the storyline and its clear and crisp content, I still wasnt convinced to pick it up for a read.

it is actually good. a fiction close to real life. besides the reading pleasure it gives many moral-full messages that we can apply in our real lives.
Its good in a different way although very brief as compared to others.

It's a self help version of Moth Smoke. Although i'd prefer re reading Moth Smoke over this one. It's good nevertheless.
