The Infernal Devices discussion

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum and just wanted to start out by saying I absolutely love Cassandra Clare's novels! And they are amazing!
Okay I seem to be rambling on but I'm going to get to the point now...

(view spoiler)[ so I just finished reading clockwork princess and I'm an emotional mess right now. I'm a bit confused though, so Jem found a cure, an he came and in the epilogue of the novel he tells tessa that he is no longer a silent brother and its 2008 then. So my question is, how is it that he is a silent brother again in TMI series. I thought that he was spending the reminder of his mortal life with tessa travelling the world? And yet in city of lost souls and in one of the earlier books he is a silent brother?

Because TMI takes place in 2007, so Jem is back to himself and not a silent brother sometime in CoHF - he tell Tessa it's the Lightwoods, Herondales and Faichilds that helped him find a cure.

Oh, your right! Thanks for that. I thought the TMI took place in 2008. My bad.
