' A yellow bird
With a yellow bill
Was perched upon

“There is a sharp distinction between what is remembered, what is told and what is true.”
“Freedom is not the same as lack of accountability.”
“All pain is the same. Only the details are different.”

I felt the book was a means of a healing process for the author. I thought it was ok, but was emotionally conflicted while reading it. I am glad I read it, though, it was interesting to learn about his perspective. The book lacked the ingredients of an enjoyable novel at many levels, but it was an easy read.
