Rule
question
Disappointed in the author

Did anyone else think that this book was "Telling?" You know the saying SHOW ME, DON'T TELL ME" It got such high ratings. Yes the story was interesting but... and then the ending how SHAW started to get covered in ink? For me it had potential but fell short and it seems I'm in the minority on this.

I didn't think the story was executed that well, either. I've read other good girl meets tatooed bad boy and starts to question all her "good girlness" that were done a lot better. I think you got to know the characters in a way that it seemed natural, or that part of them was always there, just unexplored. I didn't feel Shaw had that in her - but that doesn't mean she couldn't have loved Rule. She just didn't need to start modifying her body in order to show it. I also felt like the Remy situation was pretty obvious, however I don't think Shaw should've made the announcement that way. She kept it secret for so long and then she screams the news while throwing a temper tantrum. Nope. Doesn't sit well with me. I gave the book three stars and that was generous.
@Deborah - Lol that was pretty generous, I think I gave it one star. The grammar issues and the incessant rambling were way too much for me to handle. Even the Goodreads summary of the book rambles. D:<
if you want to read about tattood bad boys you best stick to cherrie lynn. no-body does it better!
I completely agree with you. The rambling annoys me a lot, more so than the grammatical errors! I had to stop reading after chapter one.
I liked the book.
You did have to look past all the grammatical errors and wrong word usage, but I enjoyed the characters and the storyline.

I agree with all of you. This was one of the poorest written books I have read in a while. Reminds me so much of "Rock Me", tattooed boy, rich girl. Grrrr. Why do I feel like every book I have been reading lately is so very similar to one I have already read?
