On many author loops, authors are reporting a serious increase in ebook returns on Amazon, and also that they are seeing readers boasting in forums and on groups about buying ebooks, reading them, and then returning them for a full refund.
Authors who do business on Amazon are already very generous with their low prices, willingness to post sample chapters, give-aways of free books, and consent to lending and account-sharing.

Signed. Yeah, it's so ridiculous. Maybe a 24 hr policy would be better in case someone bought the wrong book, or started reading it and absolutely hated the beginning.. and didn't want to read more.
Signed. I know this has happened to me on several occasions. With the "look inside" feature there is no reason to return a book, unless it was bought by accident. Personally, I know within the 1st chapter if I'm going to enjoy it or not. I agree with Tracey. A max time limit of 24 hours, for those who have kids who play with the 'buy with one click' button.
