Cindy Jaimes | 4 comments Good Enough/ Paula Yoo

This is a good book if you're into very high school girl stories. The book is about senior in high school. She's never had a boyfriend or gotten anything below an A in school. So when she meets a guy she likes she doesn't know how to react. The book takes you through her life and all the new things she's learning and experiencing. It's an easy read and fun. I give it 4 stars.

Mireya Garcia-Belman :] | 11 comments Forever/ Judy Blume
Katherine and Michael fall in love with each other and they discover new things. But then destiny tests their love, and things start to fade.

I think i'd give it a 4 stars.
If you like books that talk about real life situations with teens, as well as teen romance themes, then you'll enjoy the book :]

Harley, the figher, is not only matching up in ring with is new competition but also with himself and his feelings for a new found love.

I rate this book 2 stars, i felt that it was very predictable and slow most of the time.

Anakin betrays the Jedi and join the dark side as he helps the Emperor kill almost all Jedi and the empire takes over the galaxy.

I give this book 5 stars because it's really good and the best star wars book ever.

Two steps ahead of the thought police/John Leo

This book is a compilation of articles written by John Leo for the new York times, involving various political and social issues.
I'd give it 4 stars because I have to say i agree with a lot of his opinions in his articles. Other times I find him insensitive and thick headed.

message 11: by Ginna Marciel (new)

Ginna Marciel | 24 comments Marked by P.C.Cast and Kristen Cast

Zoey becoming a new fledgling has been really freaky to her, epically now that she is not only dealing with trying to become a vampire but also dealing with the fact that she is now a priestess in training.

I give this book 5 stars because its really funny and entertaining. Its also amusing to see how everything turns out and if she will be in any trouble at all.

Kenesha (niecey) | 27 comments Jade falls for a boy with kid and finds that there's more to growing up.
I give it 4 stars because the ending wasn't really that great. They could have shown what happened.

message 13: by Daniel Arroyo (last edited Apr 09, 2009 01:14PM) (new)

Daniel Arroyo | 27 comments The Old Man Out And The Sea/Ernest Hemingway

This book is an adventurous story, it explains how an old man fights for his life against a monster trying to overcome many obstacles.

I personally give it 4 out of 5 stars.

The reason for so many stars is because I liked it and it was very realistic in my mind, the author crated an image in my mind.

Its about a girl who had just been at a new school dealing with even more issues that she didn't know there was, from her first adventure. This book deserves a 4 because it has kept me interested. It had drawn me into its series and the main characters life., relates to so many teens.

message 23: by Anthony Jaques (new)

Anthony Jaques | 25 comments My Name is Asher Lev / Chaim Potok

Asher becomes an artist that challenges his family and his church.

I give this book 3.5 stars because it is a good story with a setting that draws in the reader, but the writing style was a bit tedious and personally the Jewish references were too unfamiliar to understand or relate to.
