Tom Woodward (topcattcw) | 178 comments 50 Last year ... Can I read 25 more??

(I'm in the process of converting my LibraryThing data over to Goodreads - I'm going to maintain both for a while .. then decide which one to stay with.)

Tom Woodward (topcattcw) | 178 comments 22: Listening Womanby Tony Hillerman

This was okay. I like the Navaho background of T.H.'s books - but the story in this one sometimes dragged. Will I continue on with the series? - probably.. (but don't go by me on this, since I don't easily give up on anything.)

I enjoyed all 3 books. The 1st more than the last one.

I agree Hillary - so far 1 was better than 2. I'll be reading the last one soon.

I liked it quite a bit - was a quick read with a great story/characters (but that's almost automatic with S.K.) I enjoyed the coming of age in an amusement park/carny setting/theme - kind of made me wish I did something like that when I was in college. Anyway S.K.'s mojo shines through once again.

So now that you've read the Hunger Games trilogy, what are your thoughts?

message 47: by Hillary (new)

Hillary (hmom) | 352 comments Tom, if you enjoyed the Hunger Game series, I suggest reading Divergent by Veronica Roth.

Elyse, overall and taken together, I liked the trilogy.. The first book was the best by quite a bit - I think that by the end of the last book I was getting somewhat tired of Katmiss - with that being said - for me, the ending was quite satisfying..
