Appearance: Tall, skinny, and beautiful in a strange way. Has long, shiny black hair that goes all the way down her back. Vibrant blue eyes, with a certain fire in their depths. She has a scar on the right side of her chin all along her jawline.
Personality: She seems to be quiet, but when approached, she'll be rather talkative, lulling you in to a false sense of security. She is extremely cold when she gets even slightly annoyed. She actually distrusts everyone except her mentor.
History: She has trained to be a tribute her entire life, her entire existence focusing on that moment when she volunteered as a tribute. She has a wide range of knowledge of plant life and how to survive in many environments.
Family: her mother and father grew up in the richer part of District Two, and her older brother got chosen for the games in the previous year, but someone else volunteered and took his place.
Relationship: distrusts everyone, so none.
Weapon: well trained in sword combat, able to confront multiple people at a time. She also has a knowledge of poison, able to formulate plans that lead to killing others with poison.

Catalina does not look in the best condition; oh, scratch that, she's her stylist's nightmare. With her dull limp brown curls that look as though they have never been washed (because they haven't) and her large hazel eyes, she is not very clean or beautiful to the standards of the Capitol, though she is naturally pretty. She is of medium height and stature, though she is extremely skinny as she does not eat too much. Her drab dress is nothing special, and it is one of her only clothes so she cannot wear anything nicer for Reaping Day.

Appearance: Bright green/gray eyes that show intelligence beyond his age. He is very short and has willowy, almost feminine limbs. Sear has always been slender, but hunger has made him almost a ghost. Plump, pink lips and feathery eyebrows. His hair is short and spiky. He's extremely tan from the many hours out in the sun. Despite his slight stature, he's stronger than he looks from pulling in nets. Good at running.
Personality: Sear is shy once you first meet him, but as soon as he gets to know you he can be very loud and rambunctious. He sees the more cheerful side of life easier than others. When he's nervous, he either cannot stop talking or doesn't say a word. He hates showing his emotions unless you know him really well, so at times he can seem unemotional and uncaring. At heart he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He rarely raises his voice or his hand against anyone, so he will be an easy target in the Games.
History: He was born in a dirty old hovel, cared for by his older sister. As soon as he turned two, he was taken to learn how to swim. By age three he was helping his father in the fishing business, digging for bait. At age eight he was one of the best fisherman in District 4. At age nine, his older sister was called at the Reaping and was killed in the Hunger Games. This gave him a tougher edge and he became more of an introvert. His father's back got very bad and soon he almost became the main source of his family's income. When he was Reaped the other families started avoiding the Ponds, saying that they were cursed for having two children to go into the Hunger Games.

Personality: She's very distant on purpose, because she's sure everyone she knows will die, especially in the arena. She is very distrustful of everyone. She doubts she will win, but intends to take out as many of the Careers as she can before she dies.

History: She grew up in the impoverish slums of District 3, close to the factory that her parents lived in. Their Peacekeeper is very cruel, punishing those who he thinks aren't working hard enough. This was how one of her friends died, and thus cemented her belief that it would be better to have no friend rather than lose them all to death. In her area, if you are old enough to be in The Reaping, you are old enough to work, so at age 12, she started working with her parents in the factory. She has been beaten multiple times for messing up, but what they don't know is that she does this on purpose, holding in contempt that they have to watch friends and family die on those screens, during the Hunger Games. Whenever the Hunger Games start, instead of watching it like most people, she will experiment with small inventions, when no one is looking. She's very skilled with gears and clockwork, but has a hard time with electricity. When she was taken away for the Hunger Games, her token was a gear, which most thought of as pointless and inmemorable.

Family: Her mother and father work in a factory for building televisions. She has 4 siblings, all boys. This made her tough and tomboyish from putting up with them. She is the oldest, followed by a 15, 10, 8, and 4 year-old brothers. Her and her oldest brother have entered in The Reaping, taken advantage of the tessera multiple times, yet their names have never been drawn. They hoped this would never happen, but unfortunately, Terra was finally chosen.

Appearance: Dark, rough skin with dark brown 'just below the shoulder' length dreadlocks. Deep green eyes and full pink lips. He has a sturdy, broad frame and quite muscly. He has scars on his hands, forearms and thighs from running, handling and practicing with his machete.

Personality: He is very nurturing and patient with his family. Living with 4 girls has given him a kind hearted and caring nature but if his family or friends are in danger he becomes extremely lethal, strong and unforgiving. He is strong in front of all of those who encounter him but he feels the exact opposite in the inside. He longs for a better life where hunger isn't an everyday struggle, the Capitol isn't in control, where the Hunger Games don't exist and freedom is possible.

History: He was very close with his father, Walter, who was beaten to death by Peacekeepers in front of 11's Justice Building for stealing grain from the fields for his family. Walter was the one to teach Deuce how to use a machete and taught him most of the things he knows about life in 11. Because of his fathers death, it is Deuce's job to provide and protect for his family which he does with honor.

Family: Has 3 little sisters, Edith, 8, Florence, 10, and Rebecca, 13, and his mothers name is June. He also on occasion provides for another family of 3 girls that work with Rebecca in the fields as their father died the year before their brother, the eldest of them, was entered and killed in the Hunger Games 2 years ago.

Relationship: He decided, once his father died, that he would devote the rest of his life looking after and protecting his mother and sisters and any other woman was out of the question.
