what I was thinking is that because the Eidolon Demon is a shapeshifter, he knows that Tessa can maybe get that ability too. I don't know but that's a good question.

Roselinta your 100% correct. Mortmain chose that specific demon because of his abilities therfore the offspring would be able to do the same thing!

but there's also the question that if there had never been a shadowhunter/demon cross breed, how did Mortmain know it was possible, I mean he planned it all out from the beginning, so where did he get the information from that it was possible?

maybe something to do with whoever Magnus's father is? Idk. I feel like by the end of Clockwork Princess, things weren't over yet...maybe that's how TLH and Dark Artifices will be introduced?

I wrote a fanfiction on this last year and I had the dark sister come back and take Tessa and Will had to go after her. I also included a scene with Henry and a cradle and Cassie did that, too. But I liked my epilogue more... :'(

After reading CP2 I noticed that there were some commonalities between Cassie's writing and that of others..not saying she plagiarized, but small things that I've read in other series by other authors have also made appearances in her books..
for example: in book two of the Tigers Curse series by Colleen Houck there is a scene where Ren plays a song for Kelsey and it is the song of their story and she sees the whole thing just like Tessa did when Jem played for her...
AGAIN! I am not saying she plagiarized, but she's obviously been inspired(key word is inspired) to write the things she does, and I think one of her biggest inspirations is her fans. I would feel honoured to have Cassie or some other big name author think that my writing is good enough to use in one of their books, even if they didn't give me credit...I could still, at least, brag about it to my friends, like "yeah I wrote that":p
but I'm assuming it would be different if I were already a famous author or on my way there and I found such closeness between my writing and that of another...
I love that scene from both Tigers Curse and CP2...id have to say its my favourite
