Persefani D Is hottie hot Ian going to get his own Night Huntress World book like Spade and Mencheres? I hated him in the beginning of the Night Huntress series but then started falling in love with him! He's an amazing character! Also, is the 7th Night Huntress book in the works yet?? I need me some more Cat and Bones!! :D

message 16: by Ailbhe (new)

Ailbhe Guilford (leprachaunpix) | 1 comments Hi Jeanine. I'm a big fan and love your books. I just wanted to know where you came up with the idea for the Night Huntress series? I mean, how did you decide that your stories were going to be different from typical vampire stories? Please let me know

message 19: by Paulina (new)

Paulina (paula_22) | 1 comments Hi Jeaniene :) Your books are awesome, Cat and Bones are my fav couple :) I wonder whether you are going to expand Cat and Vlad friendship?

message 20: by Penelope (new)

Penelope (penelopefrost) | 1 comments Hi Jeaniene :) I loved twice tempted as much as all your other books and all are lined up proudly on my bookshelf. And here's my questions:
Will we meet Timothy, or at least meet someone who knows of his whereabouts or what has happened to him since Bones, Spade and Ian last saw him?
Will Gretchen get a stand alone story of her own, as Spade and Mencheres got? Now that's she's officially part of Vlad's line, it would be exciting to know of all the vampires she's bound to meet and if one of them will catch her eye or the other way around. It would be amazing to see how said vampire/ghoul would handle her, since she's quite the handful.
And Ian! It would also be a balm on my heart to know whether or not he finds a woman who can calm him down and make him settle, Since he's complaining about Spade and Bones getting the rarest types of women when he's the only one collecting rarities, it would be really funny if the woman he falls in love with is nothing but an ordinary woman, but nonetheless someone who in his eyes are perfect.
Will the Night Huntress world come to a close when you are finished with the last Cat and Bones book, or will you come up with a whole new main character and main characters? It would be really awesome to see another aspect of the Night Huntress world than the one we all love and adore already. It could be something like a few years later when Cat and Bones have come some kind of heroes and the new MC strives to live like them or something along those lines.
That's about it for now, I might come back for more questions later:) Sorry for my ranting but I needed to get it out of my system :b

message 21: by Stacy (new)

Stacy Sties | 1 comments Has Maximus been cut off from Vlad's line and is there any chance he can redeem himself to Vlad and Leila?

LisasBücherchaos | 1 comments Hey Jeaniene. :)
Will you write more books after the Night Huntress/Prince series? I mean not about vampires.
I love your books and I'm excited to read the next one.

Greetings from Germany. ;)

message 23: by Perpetua (new)

Perpetua | 1 comments Bonjour Jeaniene!

What do you think of the french cover of the two first spin-off?
Will we have a new book about Spade and Denise ? I love them !!
Thank you for being here !

message 24: by Vania (new)

Vania Nunes (aborboletaquele) Hi, Jeaniene
Firts of all, I do love all your books. You put HOT vampires on a high level. LOL
My questions are:
1- I read on your site NIGHT PRINCE will be a trilogy...Why? Would you think on possibility to write more? PLEEEEEEEEAAASE!!!!!!!
2 - Will Maximus have any chance to redemption?
3- At one of Vlad's dinner, he invited all his friends, but I didnt see Slade and Denise...will they meet Leila?
4- Will Leila have the power to read mind as happened to Cat?
5- The same way Denise married to a vampire, will this happen to Gretchen?

Thank you for your attention and please, say hi to all your brazilian fans. We love you!!!!

message 25: by C.C. (new)

C.C. | 2 comments 1. Your new book Realmwalker, I was just wondering how it's different from Night Huntress (Except the story), will the writing and world/character building be very different or somewhat similar to your past books?

2. NH will be over soon (I am extremely sad about that). How do you feel about that and are you ending the series with a bang?

3. Are there any plans of writing a novella for Mencheres and Kira?

4. Will Tate find another apple of his eye?

5. Is Ian mature enough yet? Or is he coming any closer to maturity? I'll wait for an Ian book even if it takes years and please tell me he'll be in Up From Grave :3

Thanks for the wonderful books! Love you

message 26: by Susan (new)

Susan (susan60625) | 1 comments Some of my questions have already been asked but here goes.... I know you said that you only had a book or two left in the Night Huntress series, but is that just Cat and Bones? It would be great if you could shift the series main characters elsewhere with just occasional views of the HEA Cat and Bones would then enjoy! I always miss seeing characters from series that are finished and wonder what they are doing now.

Is your new book Realmwalker the start of a new series or is it just a one-off book? When will be seeing it on the shelves, because it's not on Amazon yet.

Oh, and one more bid to see a final resolution on the Timothy front before you bid this cast adieu!

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

When will you release another Night Huntress book? That is by far one of my favorite series. Also will you be able to get Tavia Gilbert to narrate the book for audible? I just don't think anyone else would be able to pull off the characters the way she does.
Thank you for the hours of entertainment, it's so nice to get lost in your books.

message 28: by Xendula (new)

Xendula | 2 comments Jeaniene, also thought I should mention that Night Huntress were the first Urban Fantasy books I ever read, and they are what got me into the genre and vampires in the first place. I love them all!

Even though I have both the ebooks and audiobooks, I go back to the audiobooks again and again, because Tavia reads with such attitude! I go running with Cat and Bones and could listen to them over and over again.

Like others, I'd love it if Ian could get his own novel in The Night Huntress World.

message 29: by Sofia (new)

Sofia | 1 comments Jeaniene,

After reading the Cat and Bones series, Vlad and Leila were very new and fresh. Thank you for the amazing stories that I can't help but reread over and over. Will we ever find out the origins of Leila's powers or are we to continue to believe it was a just a freak accident? Is Maximus coming back? And, if you can say, should we except more disastrous relationship obstacles in the next Night Prince book?

Again, love your Night Huntress books!

message 30: by D.B. (new)

D.B. (dbsieders) | 1 comments I am so enchanted and intrigued by all of the supernatural creatures that inhabit the Night Huntress world. This is defintely one of my favorites series :)

Since we've encountered a few Demons, any chance we'll be seeing Angels, particularly those of the hot and hunky variety?

Thanks again for sharing your wonderful stories and feeding my urban fantasy/paranormal romance addiciton!

message 31: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1 comments Are you thinking of making any of your book series into a movie series? I'm sure a lot of people would go and see the movies for your book sequels

message 32: by TheBanshee (new)

TheBanshee How many Night Huntress books can we expect?

message 33: by Jada (last edited Apr 13, 2013 12:31PM) (new)

Jada | 1 comments Can we expect something new and fresh from Cat in Up from the Grave? Not that I don't already love Cat but I don't want to get bored with her character

message 34: by Brandy (new)

Brandy (grim_darkling) | 1 comments I love all of your books and i'm a fan of your writing style. I was just wondering if you're going to write any books other than the night huntress series or anything in the night huntress world. It's not that I don't absolutely love the series and the characters, I just wondered about any new, new stuff lol. Thanks for writing such awesome books!

message 35: by Maria Mercedes (last edited Apr 13, 2013 01:17PM) (new)

Maria Mercedes (theoracle9240) | 1 comments I heard that you are considering Ian for his own story. Will it be a book like Spade & Mencheres or do you have a series in mind like Vlad's? When are planning on the release? Late 2014 or early 2015?
Thank you for writing these wonderful stories.

message 36: by Kai (new)

Kai | 1 comments just to start off with you are my favorite author I have ever read! I have a bad habit of getting one of your books, settling somewhere for the day, and reading the whole thing!

and so begins the questions....When you write the next cat and bones book, will we see cat's conversation with Leila from her perspective? and I'm curious, but do you have a favorite person you enjoy(or prefer) writing about?

and then, have you ever considered writing more books about mencheres and his past because he had so much history?

and then when you write, do you have it planned out somewhat when you write or is it very spontaneous? and how, oh how, do you make them all so so funny? I always am cackling like a hyena when ever I read your books(needless to say, I often get some odd looks), but how do you do it! lot and lot of questions, i know, but I can't resist!
And thanks so much for writing these awesome books!

message 37: by Pauline (new)

Pauline | 1 comments I only discovered your books a few months ago, and I've enjoyed every one. Although, those with Cat & Bones and Vlad & Leila are my favorites. I have to say, in my opinion, no one writes a kick-ass female heroine better than you!

I would love to see Ian have his own story. I'd also like to see Tate and Maximus find their true loves as well. Any plans for these great supporting characters to have their own books?

Thanks for the many hours of enjoyment!

P.S. Tavia Gilbert rocks!

AnimoR Lomy (lomy_animor) | 1 comments Hello! I love all your books and for that reason I wonder traducciran all books into Spanish? I'm from Santiago de Chile and would like to have physical books.

Paranormal Books R Us | 1 comments I absolutely love all your characters as I'm sure you do, but I was wondering if you had any one "favorite" character to write about? Is there any character that really gives you a hard time? And thank you for your amazing books I can't wait for the next one!

message 40: by carolyn (new)

carolyn | 1 comments Jeaniene, What inspires your creativity? Meaning what/who is your go-to inspiration when writing your strong character-driven stories and fantasy environments? Your writing is so well loved (I believe) because you are successful in convincing the reader that your world truly exists and we (the reader) want to stay even longer in this world and meet and make friends with the characters in reality. Thank you, it's a fun ride.

message 41: by Bridget (new)

Bridget Do you plan on writing another stand alone book for Spade? I love his character and would love another book with him as the main character.

message 42: by Melissa (new)

Melissa | 1 comments Hi Jeaniene! Thanks for doing this Q and A - I am sure you are answering question after question after question and even though I have seen your answer about Ian and where he is - even though I hate to even say/type this -- he deserves to be ready -- as much as we all would like to be that naughty-naughty-naughty man's HEA, I do think to quickly match him up before he is ready would be a disservice to the awesome naughtiness that is Ian.

That being said if you want to make me his HEA, my name, Melissa is spelled with (1) l and (2) s's. And if that doesn't convince you.......can you at least tell us if she will be as badass as all get out and make him beg and grovel? Or at least tell me if one of these guesses is right?
a. Tara
b. Nix from IAD (super-fantastic-most-awesome-match-EVER)
c. a certain Enforcer who will not be named
d. The voodoo queen of NOLA

And a serious question, will we ever know what happened to Timothy, the third person of the group that Ian turned?

BTW - we have the same birthday! I am a year older but don't tell anyone I am turned 25 this year (wink wink)

jenna (snowy_rose101) | 1 comments I love your books, you are my Absolute favourite author.

I was wondering how you were able to come up with the characters and story plot; for your books.

Also have you got a title for the next night huntress book.

Thank you for your time to answerer some of the questions. YOU ARE AWSOME!!!

message 45: by Amira (new)

Amira Hisham | 2 comments hey jeaniene, i LOVE The Night Huntress series and i'm dying to get Once Burned & Twice Tempted !
i was wondering would you personally fall for a Bones in real life ? and is there anything common between you and Cat ?
Thank you <3 !

message 46: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 13, 2013 10:48PM) (new)

Hi there Jeaniene! :) Your main character in the Night Huntress series, Cat, reminds me a lot of my friend whose personality is much like her's. Next to Cat, Bones is her favorite character as well as my own ^-^

ANYWAY, here's my question: Are any of the characters in your books like yourself?

If for some reason you're interested in answering this question ( I won't be disappointed if you don't but this has for sure been on my mind a lot ):

If you were to make the Night Huntress series into a movie series, who would you cast as Bones and Cat?

message 47: by Miri (new)

Miri (miriamarosen) Hi Jeaniene,
First Question:
How far in the future do you see the Night Huntress Series going? As in do you have it all worked out on where to take the Cat and Bones story and if there are any new characters you'd like to introduce to their world.
2nd Question:
What other spin off series would you like to do if you had the time?
3rd Question:
What is your favorite movie you've watched recently?

message 48: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (tkellmer) | 1 comments It's ridiculous how many times I've re-read Twice Tempted already. LOVE Vlad so much. I was wondering if you were originally going to give Vlad only one book but wound up needing three to tell the story or was it always going to be a trilogy?

message 49: by ancaraisa (new)

ancaraisa | 1 comments Hi,Jaeniene,
Where do you get your inspiration when you give life to the characters in your books ? ,which, by the way, I adore.

♥Linsey Pop♥ - mybooksnthings.com (linseypop) | 1 comments Hi Jeaniene... LOVED Twice Tempted!!!

My question: Will we be seeing Maximus again in the next book?? I hope so... I really hope he can be forgiven and would love to see him in the future (Hint: HEA!)

Btw... 3 books just won't be enough for my Vlad addiction!! :0(
