If you like mystery with a heavy dose of romance then you should check out Kathy Lynn Hall's Red Mojo Mama. It's very addictive and a lot of fun whilst dealing with the serious issue of grief.

If you like contemporary fiction that deals with very relevant issues then Terry Tyler and Susan Buchanan are two great writers who you should take a look at.

Hi Taylor, the idea for the group came to me last night after a bottle of wine but I'm pleased to say that it still seems like a good idea. Hopefully it will grow into something worthwhile for readers and writers alike.

Hi Java, I've just had a look and Tethered does indeed look very intriguing. I loved your comment about wanting to give it 6 stars - it clearly made a massive impression :)

InD'tale Magazine (indtale) | 1 comments It is very difficult for Indie authors to promote themselves and for their talent to shine through sometimes. InD'tale magazine's goal is to find and expose talented authors, and to help them succeed.

InD'Tale Magazine is a digital magazine aimed specifically at writers and readers of self and small published works. We are growing by leaps and bounds, both in terms of readership and submissions by indie authors.

Check out our shelves here on Goodreads - we are entering all of books we have reviewed in the magazine.

Our website is www.indtale.com -- information on how to submit your books for review is there, along with articles, columns and professional reviews.

I've read Frozen Past, Karen and loved it. I will check out Near Death on your recommendation. I have a feeling we have very similar tastes in reading :)

I'll have to check this out. I also write SF with a female protagonist so this is right up my alley!

Karen Einsel (kkrafts) | 4 comments Tube Riders was really good. I just finished "Devil's Nightmare" by Robert Pruneda. Good story. Very Stephen King-ish

I'm going to have to start writing these recommendations down. Just had a look at your page K.S. and your stuff looks great - I think you'll definitely like American Goddesses. Gary also has an excellent review site www.honestindiebookreviews.wordpress.com which is perfect for picking up recommendations.
