If you like sci-fi with lots of action and feisty female protagonists then check out Gary Henry's American Goddesses.
If you like contemporary fiction that deals with very relevant issues then Terry Tyler and Susan Buchanan are two great writers who you should take a look at.
Hey thanks for the invite. I Love mystery! Hopefully I can be an active member.

Great to hear from you C.L. I hope you will have lots to add and we can get some good recommendations going for everybody.

Who am I?
I'm Eric J. Gates and I write contemporary thrillers with a twist. What do I mean by that? Check out the Indie Writers page in this group and all will be revealed...

Hi Taylor, the idea for the group came to me last night after a bottle of wine but I'm pleased to say that it still seems like a good idea. Hopefully it will grow into something worthwhile for readers and writers alike.

Hi Java, I've just had a look and Tethered does indeed look very intriguing. I loved your comment about wanting to give it 6 stars - it clearly made a massive impression :)

I'll drink to that! Looking forward to it!

Honestly, I turn my back on Twitter for a moment and you all rush here!

I read American Goddesses. Good book!

Hi Karen, as we are both in agreement about American Goddesses, I am looking forward to checking out The Tube Riders. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I've read Frozen Past, Karen and loved it. I will check out Near Death on your recommendation. I have a feeling we have very similar tastes in reading :)

I'll have to check this out. I also write SF with a female protagonist so this is right up my alley!

I'm going to have to start writing these recommendations down. Just had a look at your page K.S. and your stuff looks great - I think you'll definitely like American Goddesses. Gary also has an excellent review site www.honestindiebookreviews.wordpress.com which is perfect for picking up recommendations.
