Mock Newbery 2026 discussion

As the Newbery award comes closer the discussions become quite a bit more interesting. In the meantime I have put a few books on the group booklist that are already getting a little attention. This could be because they have gotten favorable reviews, or it could be that they are written by an author that is well known. If you get the opportunity to read any of them let us know what you think. Start a discussion about the book you liked (or didn’t for that matter), especially if it is a good contender for the Newbery. The most common obstacle will be if the libraries have the current books in yet.

I have added a lot of books on the bookshelf, all published this year. Who knows, next years Newbery might be there.
