Dariel Raye | 42 comments Give us some of the paranormal romance books you're reading and tell me a bit about them. If you've started reading it already, tell me what you think so far - just a hint. We always want to hear about more great books around here :-)

Starla B (missstarlamae) | 9 comments Well, I just finished How (Not) to Kiss a Toad, a fabulous book by Elizabeth A. Reeves about baker who is also a magic practitioner with major love problems. Absolutely loved it! I read it in about 3 hours, while at work. Couldn't put it down. Tonight I'm going to start the second book in the Goddess Series by M.W. Muse. It's a fascinating take on Greek Gods and Goddesses in modern times. The first book, Legacy, started out slow for me, but it was the beginning of a fairly large series (5 books so far with a 6th being published soon) so there was a lot of backstory to get through. By the time I reached the end I was extremely invested in the characters. It reminds me a bit of P.C. Cast's Goddess series, but the underlying plot seems completely new and fresh to me. We'll see how I feel a few more books into the series.

Ora (oeamis) I finished A Witche's Handbook of Kisses and Curses (Half Moon Hollow 2) I normally will start with the first book in a series, however after reading the synposis of the book I couldn't resist. I wanted to read something with a little humor and also how can you go wrong when the hot neighbor guy is always walking around shirtless.
I started Once Burned by Jeanine Frost. I have been debating on it for a while, however am so far pleased with the book.
I plan on reading Jacob Nightwalkers 1 by Jacquelyn Franks. I haven't heard of the series before however it is the book of the month for one of the book clubs I belong to. After checking it onlline I think I will be happy with it.
