Around the World discussion

I've decided to join your ranks as I enjoy reading books that take me to new places and/or to learn new things about places I've already been. I heard about this group from some of you who are also members of YLTO (Judy, Connie, Rusalka, others). I'm envisioning my reading here as part ad hoc and part planned as a series of "trips."

My first planned reading list is a "trip" that will take me from Mexico then north to California and Alaska then east into the vastness of northern Canada and then southward to Newfoundland and then Toronto and finally to upper New York. I've alpahbetized by country but also numbered the books in the order I plan to read them. Wish me "bon voyage"!

Thanks for the welcome, Rusalka! My inspiration is an actual trip my husband and I will make this summer. We're only actually going north to upper New York and lower Ontario, but here I'm imagining making a longer journey just for fun. Joining this group is going to explode my TBR list I just know, I mean even more than already!!

Oh and it will. You just need to resign yourself to the fact there will always be too many books to read.
