I do not see how even the most teratogenic pollutants could have produced the anchors of Fox News.

Dawn (dawnv) | 82 comments This is interesting I have not watched the video yet but just last year we were saying that while the crabs do look larger they are not as meaty or dense as they used to be.

Plus something is up with crabs like ten years ago I could eat half a bushel alone but now I can barely eat 6 before I get indigestion. Perhaps it is age but it could also be the toxins.

Oh and I live in MD where we love crabs!

Robert Zwilling The animal life is responding to the pollution and if possible handling it. The way the pollution is handled is not going to generally make life easier for us. The holy grail of the consumerized techno civilization is to gengineer life forms to eat up the fall out from whatever processes we don't want to change that should be changed. So far it works in small areas not massive scale.

The strongest part of the crab shell used to always be the claws, defensive offensive weaponry. The thickening of the shell is additional armor which probably means they will be fighting off more attacks in the future as the food chain changes.
