Although she said that the model for Clockwork Princess was the girl who played Tessa in the CP2 trailer and that wasn't CGI... CC has closed her fanmail though otherwise you could ask there

But the cover model for CP2 (tessa gray) is the most beautiful cover models that i have seen... EVR... usually some of them look good and thats the end of it, but this model was reallllyyyyyy pretty and i kind of lost hope cuz i was thinking if this is was Tessa Grey looks like, then i have no chance with Will Herondale :( ....
and apparently after CP2 was released, the model was really sought after and yeh

I think the only model's name who is revealed is the one for Tessa...

For the name of the model for Jem, see this post by the illustrator:

There's a topic here that said his name is Danny Schwarz, and yes he's really handsome :3

He looks amazing but, I don't know, not so Will-ish? His face is still very similar to the cover. So you know for sure it's him? It's kind of hard to picture this model in victorian clothes but perhaps Cliff Nielsen is really a great artist and I must accept that reality and my imagination are two different things :)
You're welcome :) there's a discussion topic here somewhere about TID dream casts and someone mentioned that Danny is the Will on the cover. But yeah, the cover was a bit dark but it sure looks like him. I dunno though, I still picture Aaron Johnson as Will xD

If I may throw my two cents in:
I think its most likely the Hoffman guy.
And I think its not photoshopped enough. Jem's hair is a defining feature of his and the cover has a blackhaired guy in his prime health, apparently with some meat on the bone. The book highlights Jem being skinny and pale several times. Also, just based on it, what would this cover actually tell you about Jem or the book?
Plus Runes do not glow.

I wasn't sure since the models face looks longer than the one on the cover, it was rather his distinct chin that told me its probably him.
But in either case he looks like Will and not a thing like Jem in my eyes. Also him being "Asian" as Clare claimed... maybe half-Asian, at most.

The guy on the clockwork angel cover is Danny Schwarz.

Are you sure?
I found this one where you can see him from the side

and the cover of CA does not seem to match the profile:

In fact the profile is significantly different.

In case of the Clockwork Prince Cover model, I can assure you that you are not alone with this.
I stick to it that the guy looks nothing like Jem was described, but matches Will's description to the last. And as far as I know many believed that this was Will and only later found out that it was supposed to be Jem and some among them just accepted it then. However the reasons for believing it to accurately represent Jem were in my experience so far:
1) Cassandra Clare said so
2) The dragon-headed cane
3) Someone else said so
There was also often a "who else is it supposed to be" but that came basically down to the three points I mentioned.

Yeah i know that, when i own the book i was like "hey he is jem, but he isn't jem at the same time " haha Clockwork Angel model alredy looks like Will , and Clockwork Princess model looks like Tessa , but the Clockwork Prince model was a bad election

Well the princess cover showed an unusual amount of skin for a victorian girl of that age, but at least it could be victorian, unlike the cover of the manga:

In and on itself the covers for the TID novels aren't bad, however once compared to the novels you quickly notice that thinks don't match up. And I don't mean things like Will's hair being too short or Tessa's face not really matching, but things like the marks glowing and Tessa showing way more skin than she did in the book.
And with Jem it's the most obvious. There is the black hair, the relatively broad frame and his overall very healthy pink skin. That was not how Jem was described, ever. The only thing this model seems to have in common with Jem is his European look. I know many say the cover is "Asian" but no one ever told me why they think it apart from the three reasons I mentioned above. And while the facial features would possibly fit the description from Clockwork Angel, it would probably not fit the one from Clockwork Prince. In that book Jem's face seems to be different enough from typical Europeans that Tessa fears people might stare at him for it (not just his hair; although Chinese did exist in London at the time) and his face is likened to that of a woman who is apparently supposed to be Chinese.
The problem is that the guy she described in Clockwork Angel looks more like a paler and skinnier version of these:

or like the male version of this woman:

Maybe I am a bit naive but I doubt Victorian Londoner's would stare at such people just like that.
Also Jem would probably look more like this:

I read people "arguing" that the cover shows the healthy Jem, but not only was Jem last healthy at the time this book plays when he was 11 years old and Clare had described his normal eyes as black (which is pretty stereotypical and probably very unlikely, because there are no black human eyes and usually half-East Asian and Half-European kids have medium brown eyes, many also have hazel and green eyes). But whatever, they do not even fit the covermodel since that guy has blue eyes:

You can't really see it that well here due to the size but you can check in the source or here:

The thing is that Clare actually received praise for this for chosing an "Asian" model, that she approved it and claimed that she was only sent sheets of Asian models, and I picked one who was LA-based because that’s close to where Cliff, the cover artist, works. Didn’t hurt that he was also really gorgeous. I thought he would make a perfect Jem. (source: http://www.racebending.com/v4/feature...)
Then why does the cover look like Will?
Allegedly this is the cover model:

And he doesn't look like Jem either.
You might say he looks kind of "Asian" from some angles:

But make his hair black and give him blue contact lenses and he looks exactly like Will.

The cover art has his hair as silver, which is how Jem is described in the books. Will has very black hair.

I assume that it is Forrest Hoffman. The cover does not exactly match the guy on the photo. I assumed its him because of the chin and general face shape.

Oh really? So all these dark places on his head (aka 90% of it) is still the bright silver described for Jem? And that pink skin is the same as Jem's pale white? And this well-nourished and kind of buff body is the same Jem's skinny frame?

Wasn't Tessa described as average looking? So why pick a model?
