NEW & IMPROVED RULES:

We have two folders for Self Promotion. If you are an author of paranormal fiction we would love for you to start a thread in our Paranormal Goodreads Authors folder.

All other self promotion items should be posted in this folder. Members may create any threads they want though we do ask that you update a single thread if you have repeated announcements instead of creating new ones.

For authors & other promoters, by creating a thread you are initiating a conversation with us. We expect you to be available for questions and comments from our members. You would never run into a book club yell "Check out my stuff" and run out so don't do that here. Simple right? We WANT to talk to you so give us the opportunity to do so. Should someone ask a question (not just a comment but ASKs a question of you) and you don't respond within 2 weeks we'll remove the thread since it is obviously not a conversation.

Last, but not least, if you post self-promotion threads outside this folder I may move them for you or they may be deleted. It's a risk so please just post them in the right location.

Mark Maki (makibooks) | 1 comments Hello, I'm Mark from MakiBooks and I want to present to you a new serial killer named Morton Berlocke. You can find out all about him in the horror novella The Burlap Killer. It's 147 pages long but be forewarned, it's more under the 'extreme horror' genre. If you enjoy slasher books/flicks, like descriptive settings, and have the stomach for gore and suspense, then this is for you. I'll provide links to my Etsy and GoodReads pages.

Matilda (matildareyes) | 2 comments I'm looking for reviewers for my recently released urban fantasy book, Unearthly Magik. It's the first book in the Black Cauldron Detective Agency series. Think magic, mayhem, and murder.

Available on Kindle Unlimited

Rivals. Impossible cases. Supernatural war.

Ava Ramos is one furious mage. New York City is her town, and she and her Black Cauldron Detective Agency know every beat of the supernatural underground. Need an object found or secrets uncovered? Ava and her partners are the mages to contact. A former rival, Tasis, shows up with a case that proves Ava just might not know everything about her town.

The Lauret Grimoire, the oldest known compendium of the supernatural, has gone missing from one of the most closely guarded magikal libraries in the city. The mages assigned to guard the damned thing can’t find any clues. Tasis is one of those mages.

Now, Tasis is calling in the last favor Ava owes him. Ava never breaks her word, so she and the Black Cauldron Detective Agency take the impossible case.

Can they find The Lauret Grimoire before anyone in the supernatural underground gets their hands on it? Or will a supernatural war start in Ava’s backyard?

Don't Talk to Evil Witches, Especially Her!

Merry Meet everyone, I am Vladmir Shadowfire, well not really, my real name is Philip ha-ha. Before I promote my book, I want to thank everyone for allowing me in your group and hope I can help make you smile! I am a writer, a cyclist and a very odd person you probably never met before, but I'm honored to meet you. Just don't look under your bed tonight because you will disturb my sleep Sheesh! Anyway, all kidding aside I really hope you get a chance to read my latest absolutely free book on booksie.com. This book will always be free to read because I write for the love of writing and want to share my stories with anyone that is kind enough to read them. Are you ready for an amazing adventure by some incredible people that might actually exist even though this is written as a fictitious story? Are you ready to give me your soul as payment for my book? No, just kidding there ha-ha, but without further ado, here is the presentation of my story:

Have you walked to your favorite restaurant to have an early lunch when a mysterious naked woman walks up to you in front of everyone in broad daylight? Me either, but it happened to a well respected psychiatrist that was caught off guard by her charm and beauty.

This delightful book is based on true story events and characters I met in my lifetime, involving vampires, scary people lurking in dark shadows and a very mysterious witch of all time named Kendra.

Kendra (not her real name) is a fierce, but loving witch that believes the psychiatrist she is stalking is really her long lost lover from another Earth Realm, but I just wonder? Is doctor Phil (no not the famous one on tv) strong enough to handle her and marry her, even when she sneaks in his apartment under his bed while he sleeps?

You'll never meet another woman like Sarah, darn I was supposed to keep Queen Kendra's name secret ha-ha, but once you do, you will fall in love with her like I did. Yes, I'm going to hell ugh! ;)

I just wonder? Can a well respected psychiatrist trust Kendra's 16 year old cousin to fly him to Washington in a stolen jet so that he can marry the woman of his dreams without crashing the plane during takeoff and dying? I guess we'll just have to read and find out, especially since her cousin never flew a plane before, but she believes she can fly a broomstick, that's the same thing, RIGHT? ;)

I really had a weird dream last night and it seemed to involve Witches, Atheist and Vampires, but somehow it felt so real, like a vampire is sucking on me right now, dare I open my beady little eyes?

"Why are you sucking on my neck?" I asked my sexy, scary, vampire witch, as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Awe, no girly screams today my little muse?" she laughed and gently stroked my hair as I was waking up.

"Well from my professional opinion, I figured that if you wanted to kill me, I'd already be dead by now, so good morning, but aren't you supposed to melt if the sun hits you?"

"I'm not a vampire my love, I'm an Evil witch, that's come to torment you" she laughed and said, "wasn't last night so much fun?" It was kind of hard to remember anything from last night especially with her erotic tongue all over my neck, wow! She is a wonderful distraction, but remember your training, remember your training!

Yes, my dear, that is what Kendra is like and she can't wait to meet you too, but please check under your bed before you go to sleep tonight, or she might put a spell on you too!

see you in your dreams, or maybe your nightmares, if you dare to read our book! ;)
