LaLaLa Laura (laurabhoffman) Did you join CWAtC more recently? Or, are there books that CWAtC read that you never got around to reading? Well don't you fret none, CWATCers, as we now have a catch up and mustard challenge.

Simply list the books read by our group that you have not read and keep track of your progress toward reading them.

You can post your thoughts in the original threads which we still keep active. Just read one book a month (or more if you like) until you are done with your challenge. Keep us posted on your progress!

You can decide to read all the books we have read for a real challenge or only the unread books that appeal to you.

Here is our bookshelf of already read books.

Depends. A lot of us seem to be doing MB in May. But, what genre you in the mood for?

message 21: by Karena (new)

Karena (karenafagan) Unfortunately we read Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Breakfast at Tiffany's before we joined up on Goodreads so we don't have a separate discussion thread. We'll have to figure out a thread or two. :)

message 22: by LaLaLa Laura (last edited May 05, 2013 10:52AM) (new)

LaLaLa Laura (laurabhoffman) So I started Madame Bovary last night and will start posting on the Madame Bovary Thread for whoever would like to join.

message 23: by Jessica (last edited May 07, 2013 02:43PM) (new)

Jessica | 464 comments I am going to attempt this challenge, but it may take me a while. I just borrowed about 6 books from my cousin, lol.
Hopefully I can start in July. I hate to say it but I have no interest in reading The Phantom of the Opera. So that might be an opportune time for me to read either

Madame Bovary
The Age of Innocence
The Fall of the House of Usher
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Cloud Atlas or
The Picture of Dorian Gray

We will see where the reading road takes me. :)

I might join you in June. for Cloud Atlas. :)

message 25: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey Buis | 77 comments Is everyone still doing this challenge? I love the idea. Here's my list:
1. Cloud Atlas
2. The fall of the House of Usher (June read)
3. Breakfast at Tiffany's
4. Picture of Dorian Gray
5. Perks of Being a Wallflower
6. Madame Bovary
7. Life of PI
8. Sherlock Holmes

Is anyone reading anything in August? I was thinking about doing Life of PI, but it'd be fun to read with someone else if you've already got something planned...

message 26: by Danaë (last edited Oct 28, 2013 04:37PM) (new)

Danaë | 89 comments I stalled out three quarters of the way through Anna Karenina and then missed the next couple months from travel and general summer craziness, so I guess it's time to join this challenge! My books are:

Anna Karenina
Phantom of the Opera
Solaris
Madame Bovary
The Fall of the House of Usher
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Cloud Atlas

I've read Fahrenheit 451, so I'm using this month to get through Anna Karenina and Phantom of the Opera. I just started listening to Phantom today, Lindsey, and could switch to one of the others if you still want a reading buddy. I have already read Life of Pi though.

message 27: by Erika (new)

Erika (erikarae) Oh, yay! I need this. I need to read:

The Phantom of the Opera
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (I started it, just have to finish)
The Age of Innocence
Cloud Atlas (I have it, and have tried to start it about 3 times, but the timing just hasn't been right, I guess.)
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Madame Bovary

I think I'll try to tackle Cloud Atlas and Sherlock Holmes next month since I've already read The Handmaid's Tale.

Good idea. If you read a current selection and it's too early to do a re-read or you don't want to re read it, then just read a past selection. :)
