Okay, so here's the plot so far. Violet Tower and her friends Nell, Evangeline, Claudia, and Greg just graduated from high school. To celebrate, they decide to go on a long road trip/camping. They live in Salem Oregon and are headed to the Cascades. On their first stop, they meet Drew Fall, who Violet is in love with, Persephone, and Beth, who is a vampire. These three join the group and continue on. At the rest stop for the night, Vi and Claudia decide to go check out the forest around them. They check out a cave, which has a sweet smell. Beth follows the unknowing girls to make sure they don't get hurt by her kind. The rest of the group end up following. A thirsty vamp is hiding inside, and Beth kills him, only after he bites Vi, Claudia and Drew. Beth sucks the venom from Vi and Drew, but Claudia somehows gets out of the cave. Greg goes to check on her, and she attacks him, and bites him. She realizes what she did and runs back into the cave where she accidentally bites everyone else. Beth saves the group and in three days, everyone is a vampire. They eventually wind up at Beth's house.
