I've read your blog post and enjoyed reading it. I'm sorry you've decided to turn off the comments as it denies your readers and followers to interact with you directly on your blog.
One genre whose percentage you've forgot to mention is YA along with all of its sub-genres. "I Kissed a Ghos" is my first YA Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance novel; so I'll have to guess you'd consider it to be part of the paranormal sub-genre.
The time travel element which takes place in my first romance endeavor deals with George taking Mary into the past of a hundred years ago he becomes alive again. There are scenes with them having a good time enjoying themselves as kids during this time. Her "love" for him grows there. So I feel as long as the two love interest in the story are together, the time period they're in doesn't begin to really matter that much; especially since I feel you can't have a time travel element where only one of the characters actually engages in it. This has only been my opionion in this matter.
