Adam Bolander | 11 comments I would like to recommend my book, The Slayer and the Sphinx, to anyone who enjoys YA fantasy. If anyone would like an electronic copy in exchange for a review, just let me know :)

For thousands of years, mythical creatures have lived alongside humans in secret, driven into hiding by the Slayers. Porter Collins is one such Slayer, only sixteen years old but quickly rising the ranks to become one of the best. Sarah Heisen is a young sphinx whose overprotective parents have never allowed to set foot out of her home. When Sarah's existence is discovered, Porter is ordered to hunt her down and kill her, but a blow to the head leaves him without a clue as to who or what he is. Now both of them are hopelessly lost in the wilderness. If they wish to survive, they must work together.

Adam Bolander | 11 comments I'd say 12+. There's violence, but it is never over the top or gory. There is no bad language, sex, drug use, or anything else that would be inappropriate for tweens or older.
