Addicted to Reading discussion

So this is our May read. A reread for most of us. Let us know what you think :)

I just re-read it, and I've forgotten how REALLY REALLY GOOD IT IS!!! I'm reading Last Sacrifice now because I needed a longer VA fix and the other books weren't in the library. :(

Haha I haven't read Last Sacrifice at all and I will force myself to stick to the strictly one book per month thing.

Thanks to you :) If you love VA so much, you'll definately really really love Last Sacrifice, the sixth and final book in the series. The second book's really sad but an awesome (and hot) (view spoiler)[search Adrian Ivashkov on Google Images (hide spoiler)] new character is introduced. We should definately read the bloodlines series too. It has 3 books (I have the second) and the fourth is coming out. Richelle writes really fast.

Not as fast as P.C. Cast. She only writes one book a year.

Yeah, but compared to alot of other authors, she's really fast.

Which is fantastic.
And PC might write really fast (and don't get me wrong I do enjoy her work) but some of them could do with a bit more work.

I agree, her storylines could do with a bit more development and the resolutions need to have a bit more thought into them. Not that I don't love a happy ending, but it would be nice if they didn't ALL end up with the middle-aged heroine getting pregnant with some kind of hybrid child and being HAPPY about it.

But I agree. I enjoy her work. Always. I just cannot read more then one at a time without wanting to throw up at all the happiness

Cept for House of Night. There really isn't all that much happiness in it. I only don't like the bull poopie

I'm really not such a House of Night fan, which sucks, because even though I'm a regular member of 4 libraries, none of them ever seem to have anything but the HoN.

Hmmmmm, strange. I need to read the 4th book before I can read the rest. And Nicole gave me a copy of book 10 Hidden.
