I agree...love Atwood's take on Canada as well. Be aware...very nice quote...it's so easy to not have our eyes open....it seems our eyes are more open when we've lost something or are in a panic.

This is my first book by Munro, and I notice that she comments quite a bit on characteristics of people from different areas of Canada. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
