I am finally posting a discussion folder for The Watsons. I am still reading through it myself and finding it difficult due to the sentence and paragraph structure. If anyone has read it, feel free to begin discussion.

Candace (lifeguard) | 4 comments I really enjoyed it. I was so disappointed that she didn't finish it. I wanted to keep reading it, but it abruptly ended and left me wondering what would have happened if she finished it. I read that she told her nieces and nephews that Emma Watson would've turned down Lord Osborn's proposal and married Mr. Howard. Even though I know how it would've ended, it still would be fun to see how she would do it.

I read a few more pages last night and got better into the flow of the narrative and started liking it. I should finish it later and have more comment. We can't stop ourselves from wishing for more finished Austen, can we? ha ha

Candace (lifeguard) | 4 comments I wish all the time that she would've wrote more books and finished more. I'm so selfish, that I even wish she would have lived longer, just so there could be more books for my enjoyment. Ohh, what a selfish creature I am.:(

Claudia | 25 comments I also started to read this yesterday - still need about 15-20 more pages - but I would have liked to read more about Emma Watson, she's a likable character. Well even though it's not finished at least we have that fragment, right? I was just thinking about Lord Osborne too. He's a little creepy to me (well, so far) my first impression of him is like the Duke from the Keira Knightley movie "The Duchess"... I dunno about him... :P

Candace (lifeguard) | 4 comments I have not seen "The Duchess", so I cannot relate Osborne to the Duke character. Once I see it I'll be looking out for similarities. Thanks for the suggestion of the characters similarities.:)
