This is everything I'm going to say about it hahaha
I read the book about 6 years ago. I have only very faint memories of it now, I have to admit, but I get a strong feeling of boredom when I think of it.
I finished this one, attempted Eldest, got bored and failed, and have never picked up the series again.

I think I read this years ago but never continued with the series- there must have been a reason :0

I havent read it. I watched it. All i know is my sister read them all. So.. she must of liked them lol

Lol. :p Lots of people seem to like it, though. We're just a bunch of cynics!! I'll never give in to the temptation to read any more of the series, though.

Yes but Tara, you're weird. :p This has already been established.
I didn't even manage to get beyond the first couple of chapters of City of Bones it was so bad. Vampire Academy was ok but only a couple of characters (Christian!) were really good.

Fifteen-year-old Eragon believes that he is merely a poor farm boy—until his destiny as a Dragon Rider is revealed. Gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.
