Firelight is up for a YA Debut/first in a series read for the month of May 2013!

How was the starcrossed romance story for you? Did you find the dragons original, or was there something you didn't like about the mythology?

Spoilers:

Lorelle (lozza2407) | 46 comments My library doesnt have this, but im going to suggest a purchase because well its something to do with dragons I assume..Looking at the reviews it looks a bit more PNR than UF. I hope everyone enjoys it though :)

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2569 comments It is about dragons, and it is a star crossed lover romance.

Me too and yes! lol ;-)

Amanda L. (awikstrand) I just finished the book and it was a fun/fast read. I felt like the main character (Jacinda) a bit too much of a victim. She seemed unable to form a proactive plan to combat problems. She rarely made a decision and stuck with it - always flip flopping. On the flip side, this starting point allows the series to really grow as Jacinda figures out her own powers/strength. I look forward to the next books and hope that her character will develop more.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2569 comments Now that you mention it Jacinda really doesn't try to solve her issues.

But that's kind of the way she's raised, you hide, run, or cower.
