In case anyone missed it or didn't know, as of today, the Kindle app is now accessible on the iPhone. Similar to iBooks, it uses voiceover to read the text. This isn't my favourite, as it does mean I can't lock the screen to save power, but it is far better than nothing. In my opinion, between the Kindle app and Voice Dream Reader, the iPhone is now the leading accessible reading device on the market.

Ann (fwalady) | 3 comments Hello, I'm so glad that they have made this application accessible for print disabled persons.
I have retinitis pigmentosa, that is pretty much rendered me completely blind now. Kendall has been away giving me my eyesight back.
Anyone out here needs help getting started with using as a reader, don't hesitate to send me a message. I love helping people with their iPhones and stuff like that.

Neil | 10 comments Hello. I'm interested to know what you think of text-to-speech with VoiceOver and the Kindle App if you use it? And is there an easy way to set it up?

Rachel (damienshoney) | 3 comments whenever i read kindle books i read them on the iphone. the app is really easy to use. on windows i found it a little less accessible but stil doable. the mac app is totally useless, or at least i havent managed to get it to work at all.

Jena (outlanderfan74) I love reading on Kindle with VoiceOver.
I wish there was a way to add a few more voice options, but it's just great to finally have access to all the books!
