What are your favorite were/shifter series and what do you like about them?

What draws you to this theme in PNR?

Danielle Book Boss (daniellebookboss) My favorite shifters have been written by Shelly Laureston and her pen name G.A. Aiken.

I like them because even though they are humorous, they don't have ridiculous plots likes some other "funny" books do for the sake of being funny. The rapport and dialogue between characters is just awesome. I also like that both the hero and the heroines are tough.

Alisa Shifters are my favorite!! I like that they are more "human" than say vampires, demons etc. They give you the best of both worlds. You can still get married and have babies but you also have the supernatural thing going on. I love how tactile they are. Always touching. Very protective. I also love the whole alpha "you are MINE" thing. Some of my favorites are:

Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh
all the shifters in this series are yummy

Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews Curran

Dragon Bound (Elder Races, #1) by Thea Harrison Dragos

The Spell (The Big Bad Wolf, #3) by Heather Killough-Walden Lucas Cage

A Hunger So Wild (Renegade Angels, #2) by Sylvia Day Elijah

Nicky Charles has some great books starting with The Mating. And the great thing is that they are free as ebooks!
