(Wish I knew even a smidgen of French for this one. . .)
On to a plethora of non-fiction titles. God, I miss school. :(

14. My Side of the Mountain - Jean Craighead George
15. Island of the Blue Dolphins - Scott O'Dell

Great YA read! Can't wait to start the next one by her on my list, Twisted. :)

18. The Ghost Map - Steven Johnson
19. Twisted - Laurie Halse Anderson
The Worst Hard Time and Twisted are both AMAZING!

Haha I read a bunch of YA books. Kind of like cheating but WHATEVER! They're fun!

Virgin Suicides was good but Middlesex was amazing. Start with that!

Alright, I'm going to hunt it down. Thanks!

Always great for a quick re-read. (The shortness of this is definitely being balanced out by this Edgar Sawtelle tome. Jeeze)
HALF-WAY THERE!

Funny. I need lots of book ideas, I am feeling like I just might get the 50 started and done.

28. Philip Hall Likes Me I Reckon, Maybe (Taught it to my Korean kids!)
29. On My Honor (Teaching it to my Korean kids right now!)

31. Seven Spiders Spinning - Gregory Maguire (Teaching it to the Korean kiddos)

33. The Road - Cormac McCarthy. A reread, and still just fucking fantastic.

Still really liking these. Need to head out to Itaewon soon and procure number 5!

My first Korean novel. Verrrry interesting. . .

42. The Interpreter - Suki Kim. Contrived and annoying. Did not enjoy this one.

Although I did some of the marketing on this one when I still worked for the press, I have to say that I didn't love it. I think a lot was maybe lost in translation. Very hard to follow and the plot was boring and seemed a little bit snobbish to me. Oh well.

45. The Witch of Blackbird Pond - Elizabeth George Speare. Always wanted to read this as a kid and never got around to it. A good read. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it.
Only 5 more to go! About to start re-reading Catch-22! I'm excited!

Read this one for my Seoul book-club. The last book we read was pretty crappy, but this one was actually really good. Dramatic and thought-provoking at the same time!

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, I would be after reading this book. It's about the ill-effects of factory farming and is most definitely hard to put down or forget. Thanks again for a wonderful book, JSF!

It's only my favorite book ever written. :) Tim has never read it so we're trying to read it together, even though we're half a world apart. Haha. I think the book is hilarious, but the first time I read it I cried at the end. Verrrry interesting! Read it!

Okay, so I JUST got this comment. For some reason or other, Goodreads is slow! :)
I'm waiting for a $1.00 copy to float my way so I can read it. It seems like all Catch-22 reprints are $566,948! Anyway, enough numbers.

49. All Together Dead (#7) - " "
I'm addicted. I'm an addict.

2. The Beach - Alex Garland
3. The Virgin Suicides - Jeffrey Eugenides
4. Kitchen Confidential - Anthony Bourdain
5. Persepolies I - Marjane Strapi
