It's hard to find a YA book settled in Buenos Aires and translated to English. So I came with to YA books writed in spanish and then translated so you can taste something about my language's culture (you can choose which one you want to read).
The first one is City of the Beasts
by a famous latinamerican writer Isabel Allende (maybe you hear about the 90's film based on her book The House of the Spirits) and is used to read in highschool here in my country.
The second is from my favourite spanish writer, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Prince of Mist
. Random fact: Both are the first part in a trilogy!
I hope you like them :)

"Jess and Maria, I was born in the U.S so i am giveing you guys some options of different books, where everything happens in america, I am also giving you guys some of my favorite books, I hope you enjoy! YA;
Romance;
The first book in one of my favorite series. You gus can choose one of these, I hope you find something you like."
Susan Malery is one of my favourites romeance authors so I will read hers. If I have time (I have to read Jess book too) I Will love to read Food, Girls, and Other Things I Can't Have. Sounds very original, and you know guys how I love a good male-point-of-view book ;)

"A great and Terrible Beauty" (Libba Bray) - it was long ago I struggled to finish a book like I do with this one. There is nothing wrong with it I'm sure, it's just not my kind of book. That's why I love reading - it's like a blind date really (I guess, never been to one).

It's hard for me when I can't finish a book because I feel I have to. I have two books and many series in a waiting room and it's like falling a test :(
I have known my boyfriend in a blind date and I think you are right. I can't wait to tell him that he was like a book I heve never read. LOL!
