Rand (iterate) | 99 comments Excellent addition.

'tis ironic for a publisher to be buried, eh? I have not heard of Arion before; they have a very very nice catalogue

his bibliography is rather impressive.

Rand (iterate) | 99 comments heh, it appears that an essay on Hoyem was one of those insufferable "poetry essays" that NR passed over in Sorrentino's Something Said (link to essay via google books)!

(an essay on McClure also appears in that book of essays)

it appears that Hoyem does not have any poems online though if you are ever in SF you can tour Arion Press, according to yelp. He is, however, on the FaceBook. maybe if you ask him nicely he'll tell you how to find his poems ;)

Like a weather balloon. Glad to see that some folks are carrying the poetic torch. Poetry readers, I've said it before and I'll say it again, need to read the Gil essay collection.

If for no other reason than he will guide you into the arms of Jack Spicer's poetry, which, if you are at all interested in good American poetry, should not remain bURIED.

Mala | 146 comments And to think NR didn't let me add Jack Spicer! ( See May I Add thread as proof).

Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 986 comments ^^^^^^ You should include a link in your comment so that you will appear to be treading that fine technically determined arbitrary line of what is and what is not BURIED. Folks should hear the name Jack Spicer more frequently, non?

Yes I suppose he rides that uneasy in-between similar to a corpse unearthed by a landslide or quake, with maybe feet or torso bonily exposed sticking up out of the earth, tombstone all awry and toppled, which good many folks would be talking about but perhaps not approaching. Jack Spicer Jack Spicer Jack Spicer.
