The Back Road is a May Read on the UK Kindle forum this month, and has been awarded the "MUST READ" status.

I'm in the Amazon "100 books for under £2.99" promotion. The full price for both my books is £1.99, and The Back Road was already in the top 50 when the promotion began. Only the Innocent was number one this time last year (a bit earlier - February and March) so I wasn't expecting much - but it's doing really well. Amazing.

I think so, personally. I don't actually like the free promotions - I know they work for a lot of people, but I've never done it, and don't intend to start.

This particular promotion is run by Amazon, so I still get the full percentage on the royalty (but only of 99p - not of the full price)

Only the Innocent has slipped back a little because of yesterday's Daily Deal and the fact that there is a 30p book that is racing up there - and I can't compete with 30p! that will be a price matching deal.

I love the Back Road video Rachel. I'm in the process of making a couple of clips for my books. I have published 3 so far, all fiction and all at 99p. I have left the price unchanged and sales have been slow but steady. I have 12 5 star and 6 4 star reviews so far for my first book that I published in February.
