We can't have a poetry section without mentioning Ms. Plath. I love the poems that I've read. She was so gifted.

True, whenever I see poppies now, I think to myself "little poppies, little hellflames". Her work is haunting.

Rhonda (rhondak) When Sylvia Plath was on target, her voice was very much like that of her poetry, immediately transporting one into another realm where I suspect she lived much of the time. I have a few original recordings of her. I am also gratified that I have never heard some of her more spiteful poetry, works which sadly intimate the great sickness she bore for many years within.
