I'm an avid history fan (and student) and would like to recommend a couple of the titles that came up in my current module as set texts or other, that are great to read in their own stead.

Callum G. Brown - The Death of Christian Britain
David Chidester - Christianity: A Global History
Diarmaid MacCulloch - A History of Christianity.

I am realizing that I am a YA fan. The Brothers of the Fire Star like the Cay should be a new solid recommendation for YA survival/adventure. I am a fan these reads: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Book Thief, The Cay and recently The Fault in our Stars. How do I recommend this book? Just completed this read, as an educator from Guam, I know the history, culture about islands and sailing. posting from Guam
